Solar Energy in Argentina

چکیده
There is a large gap between the vast solar resources and magnitude of energy deployment in Argentina. In case photovoltaics, country only reached 1000 GWh electricity generated yearly landmark 2020. Solar thermal technology even less developed, part due to low natural gas prices resulting from political strategies that aim soften impact an unstable economy on family budgets. This review describes this by summarizing current state Argentine energy. We summarize fundamental legal strategic tools which are available for deployment, survey penetration into country’s landscape, identify national contributions local value chain, past present research development achievements. Both photovoltaic technologies show historical fluctuation imported know-how. Finally, discussion main ingredients required abridge Argentina’s indicates stronger, consistent long-term Argentina order take advantage window opportunity, play considerable role global transition.

Through the process of photosynthesis, the energy of sunlight has been harnessed, not only to create the biomass on our planet today, but also the fossil fuels. The overall efficiency of biomass formation, however, is low and despite being a valuable source of energy, it cannot replace fossil fuels on a global scale and provide the huge amount of power needed to sustain the technological aspira...
